The Chrysalis House 5K Run/Walk Sponsored by R. J. Corman Railroad Group is a major annual fund raiser for the Chrysalis House with proceeds directly benefiting the families. The 5K competition includes prize money for the top three male and female finishers. ($500, $250 and $100). There will also be six random $100 cash drawing giveaways, complimentary fruit and snacks, free t-shirts for all and activities for children. This is a family-friendly event in an enclosed, safe course. Race is chip-timed by 3 Way Racing with scrolling results.

Walkers and runners may register online at chrysilashouse.org or at runsignup.com or by calling (859) 977-2504. Online registration will be available until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18. ($30).

Race day registration ($35) will be open at 8:10 a.m. at R. J. Corman Railroad Group, 101 R. J. Corman Drive, Nicholasville, KY; the events will begin at 9:00 a.m.
