PROGRAMS AND FACILITIES

FIRST STEP PROGRAM

The First Step Program is the point of entry to the full spectrum of programs and services Chrysalis House offers.  The 24-bed facility provides initial assessment of each client and an individual treatment plan is designed.  Last year, over 100 women started their recovery at this facility.

 

SINGLES PROGRAM 

The Singles House is the next step for women in recovery without a parenting responsibilities.  The focus for the clients in this 14-bed facility is relapse prevention and life skills.  Women transition to independent living through the Scattered-Site Program, which manages 10 apartments throughout the community.

 

FAMILY PROGRAM

The Family Program is the next step in residential treatment for women who have parenting responsibilities.  This 14-bed facility houses not only the client but their infant children and older children on nights and weekends.  Last year, over 20 babies and their mothers resided at the Family Program.

 

CHRYSALIS COMMUNITY CENTER

The Chrysalis Community Center houses many services for the client.  The Children's Program and family and child services are located here as well as many evening group meetings.  The Chrysalis Community Center is also home to the Job-Readiness Program which includes job-readiness classes, computer classes, GED classes, and employment counseling.

 

SERENITY APARTMENTS

Serenity Apartments is a 40-unit complex with two and three bedroom apartments. Serenity Apartments provide an alcohol and drug-free environment for clients who are transitioning to independent living. While at Serenity, clients still receive services and have access to child care.
